PROJECT DESCRIPTION

With impressive provenance, featured in Hollywood movies and boasting design features from the 1950s. This now grandiose home is nothing less than spectacular. A complete renovation and home addition transformed this single-story house into an extravagant two-story Mansion.

The homeowners wanted the perfect harmony of modern-day living with the rustic charm of their mid-century home. Indoor and outdoor living was created with floor-to-ceiling folding doors opening to the poolside deck. In addition, the house's original footprint was expanded to accommodate a gym.

The West Coast theme carried through the house by incorporating Cedarwood on the exterior. BC slate floors from the original house were maintained and restored to their original glory in the entryway. Existing exterior structural beams carried through to the newly reconstructed portion of the home, ensuring a fluid, uniform look.

High energy efficient systems and dual AC systems were installed throughout. In addition, new pool heaters, high-end energy-star-rated appliances, and energy-efficient lighting were also installed.
